The City is excited to announce that it is now offering a new, interactive online option for permitting purposes. This online portal, created with our partners at MyGov, will offer online applications and reporting concerns, along with other features. This new online system provides a new option, but the City will continue to accept hard copy application forms accessed on the City’s website and at City Hall, and reporting issues by contacting relevant City Team Members.
A building permit ensures that your building project is structurally sound, that it complies with the building and zoning codes, and more importantly, that the structure is built to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all occupants. Also, per the county building code, a building permit is required. If a building permit is not secured, you will be cited with a no permit penalty.
