Setting up automatic payments to pay your U.S. Bank credit card from your checking or savings account is a great way to help you avoid late fees. Choose from a variety of payment options that fit your schedule and budget.

Pay only the minimum payment due

Choose to pay your minimum payment due each month on a specific day.

How to set up Minimum Payment

  1. Log in to U.S. Bank Online Banking.
  2. Select Bill Payments, and then Pay a U.S. Bank Account or Pay My Account.
  3. Select your payment source and destination accounts (To and From). Select the AutoPay button.
  4. Select Pay monthly on this day; then select your payment due date. Click Continue.

Pay the full statement balance

Pay your statement balance in full on a specific day each month, or pay a set amount each Friday, with the remaining statement balance paid on your statement due date.

How to set up Full Statement Balance Payments

  1. Log in to U.S. Bank Online Banking.
  2. Select Bill Payments, and then Pay a U.S. Bank Account or Pay My Account.
  3. Select your payment source and destination accounts (To and From). Select the AutoPay button. Select Statement Balance from the drop-down menu.
  4. Choose either full statement balance payment on a set date, or a set amount weekly on Fridays with any remaining balance paid on your statement due date. Click Continue.

How to set up Fixed Amount Payment

  1. Log in to U.S. Bank Online Banking.
  2. Select Bill Payments, and then Pay a U.S. Bank Account or Pay My Account.
  3. Select your payment source and destination accounts (To and From). Select the AutoPay button. Select Other Amount from the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter the amount of your monthly automatic payment, then select your payment date. Click Continue.
